This is the third and final installment in the Millennium series
by and it follows the punk
heroine Lisbeth Salander immediately after the second book, The
Girl Who Played with Fire left off.
Lisbeth is in critical condition and will stand trial for three
murders as soon as doctors declare her strong enough to leave the
hospital. But even while she remains confined and badly injured,
she has to fight against the powerful forces that victimized her
for years. She was shot in the head and buried alive, so it isn't
easy to tend to everything that needs to be done.
With Blomkvest helping her, the two attempt to right layers and
years of wrongdoing while staying alive long enough to see the
mighty take their fall.

Thom from The United States said on Goodreads:
Mr. Larsson, wherever you are, thank you for your magnificent story telling which, like your life, ended too abruptly and much too soon.
David from Austin, TX said on Goodreads:
I loved the Millennium trilogy. I hate that I've now read every novel written by Steig Larsson.
Laura from Sao Paulo, Brazil said on Goodreads:
This third volume is quite disappointed since the events are quite predictable. The best book of this series is the second one IMHO. Lets hope for the fourth one to come if his 'widow' manages to surpass the legal drawbacks.
